Why Rothwells
The company’s principals, all time-served plumbers and heating engineers with extensive experience in all aspects of the plumbing industry, lead a skilled, professional, and mostly local workforce that includes 98 Corgi registered engineers and 28 trainees and apprentices with 4 more apprentices taken on this year. Its rigorous in-house training programme is a tribute to the company’s commitment to advancing the plumbing trade, developing industry expertise and providing first class opportunities for high level training and stable employment for local people.
As part of our commitment to outstanding levels of service and to generating sound career opportunities for local people, Rothwell Plumbing Services operates an in-house training programme in addition to external college based courses for apprentices and for adult trainees under the government’s Back to Work scheme.
As far as possible the company aims to recruit its workforce locally, delivering high specification training to equip them to carry out rewarding work within their communities. Its traditional apprenticeship scheme is currently 28-strong, while ten adult trainees are acquiring the skills of the trade as part of Rothwell’s association with Fusion 21 - a growing partnership of North West housing associations and the first of its kind in the UK - all under the supervision of highly experienced, time-served engineers.
Whatever your plumbing and central heating contractor requirements, you can rely on Rothwells.
